Infinite Tapestry is one endless painting that everyone steers together. A few simple rules keep it a place worth watching. Last updated October 13, 2026.

What you can suggest

Places, moods, styles, textures, stories, strange ideas. Short is fine. Ideas are painted close to how you wrote them; Auto, the tapestry's director, fills the gaps between ideas.

Content rules

• No sexual or nude content of any kind.
• Nothing sexualising, endangering or depicting harm to minors. Zero tolerance; we report it where the law requires.
• No hate, slurs, harassment, or targeting real private people.
• No real-world self-harm content.
• No spam, ads, or attempts to flood the queue or get around limits.

How ideas are handled

Every idea is checked automatically before it's considered. Ideas that break these rules are dropped, and repeated attempts can quietly stop an account, browser or network from contributing. We may remove ideas or scenes, or mute or ban accounts, at our discretion. Anyone can report a scene or idea from its page or the queue.

No guarantee your idea plays

The queue is shared. When it's busy, ideas are picked fairly (one per person per round, by votes and waiting time) and ideas that wait too long expire. We can't promise any idea will be painted, when, or exactly how it will look.

Your submissions

By submitting, you confirm the idea (and any image) is yours to share, and you grant Infinite Tapestry a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it to create, display and share the tapestry. Painted scenes become part of the public canvas and can be viewed and shared by anyone.

Donations

Fuel is a voluntary donation toward running costs. It doesn't buy priority, placement or any feature. Donations are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or for a clear billing error reported within 14 days.

No warranty

The tapestry is an experiment provided as is. It may pause, change, or lose content at any time, and we're not liable for any loss from using it, to the extent the law allows.
